DESCRIPTION:Art workshops for moms and kids ages 1-5 are hosted by the Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation and funded by First Five Contra Costa. Fun art projects focus on Kindergarten readiness, while showing parents how to teach art at home, encourage confidence in their young artist while working on fine motor skills and early childhood brain development. Students and moms can sign up for either 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. workshops.
